Mad Science with the Ann Arbor Hands on Museum - Owls from the Inside Out. Get up close to owls as an avian expert uses LIVE birds to show you the characteristics that help owls adapt to a predatory way of life. Students will dissect owl pellets to investigate the diet of a barn owl, learn about food chains and the role of avian predators in an ecosystem and gain an introduction to sketetal anatomy and prey identification. For grades 4-8. Space is limited, you must pre-register at the Children's Desk. April 16, 4:15pm.

Mad Science with the Ann Arbor Hands on Museum - Slime Time - Take a new look at gross, creepy and crawly things. We'll explore spider webs, silly string, and Jell-O brains before making two types of slime. We'll learn about the states of matter. Grades K-3. Space is limited, pre-register at the Children's Desk.
