Tale Waggers

Tale-waggers will be at the Veterans Memorial Library in Mt. Pleasant on July 9th, 16th, and 23rd at 6:30pm, 7:00pm, and 7:30pm. You can sign up for just one night or for all three nights. Register at the Children's Reference Desk or by calling 989-773-3242 x13.

Summer Fest & the Library!

On Wednesday, June 18th supporters of the Chippewa River District Library will be marching in the Mt. Pleasant Summer Festival's children parade in an effort to share with the community how much they love their library! If you are interested in sharing your support of the library, line-up is in the Sacred Heart Church parking lot at 7 pm. The parade begins at 7:30pm.

During the remainder of Summer Fest you will have an opportunity to use the library's gaming equipment to play Guitar Hero on the Wii. Join us in the Children's Village at Island Park from 4-6pm on Thursday and Friday (June 19th & 20th) and 2-4 on Saturday (June 21st). This event is open to all ages.

For younger children, there will also be story read-a-louds in the Children's Village on Saturday from 12-4pm.

Butterfly Gardening

Butterfly Gardening will be presented by Stan Lilley and is sponsored by Isabella County Master Gardener Association.
