Be a Volunteer Tutor!

We have several people waiting for tutors and we need you! Please register for our next Tutor Training Program which is being held on the following dates:

October 3, 10, 17, and 24, 6:00-9:00pm.

To become an adult literacy volunteer tutor, you need to be able to attend ALL 4 tutor training sessions.

Library Closure

Veterans Memorial Library and all branches of the Chippewa River District Library System will be closed on Monday, September 3 in observance of Labor Day. Sunday hours will resume at Veterans Memorial Library on Sunday, September 9.

Rosebush Building for Sales

The Chippewa River District Library System is requesting offers for the building and/or land located at 4026 Michigan in Rosebush. Offers will be accepted at Veterans Memorial Library, 301 S. University, Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858, until 2:00pm, local time, September 4, 2007. For more information, please contact Lise Mitchell, (989) 772-3488 ext. 12, lhmitch@crdl.org. Chippewa River District Library System reserves the right to reject any or all offers, to waive any irregularities, and select the offer most advantageous to the Library.

Faith Johnston Memorial Library is moving!!!

The time is here for the Faith Johnston Memorial Library to move to its new location! The Library will be closed from August 10-26 for the move, and will have a Grand Reopening reception at the new location on August 27 from 4:00-6:00pm.

The new address is 4035 N. Mission, Rosebush MI 48878.

The new library hours will be:

Monday & Wednesday - 10:00am-6:00pm
Tuesday & Thursday - 12:00pm-8:00pm.
